Description :
A Seeburg Consolette "Wallbox" A Seeburg Consolette, a type of vintage remote control unit or
"wallbox" for a main jukebox. These units, such as the Type SC1, were
typically mounted on a diner booth or counter and connected to a central
phonograph machine. Do not know if it works or not. Key Details ·
Function: Users would insert coins to earn credits, then make music
selections using the letter and number buttons. This selection would send a
signal to the main, larger jukebox, which would then play the requested song. ·
Features: The Consolette includes its own built-in stereo
speakers with volume controls (low, medium, high) for localized listening at a
booth or table. ·
Modern Use: While they do not play records on their own, conversion
kits are available to turn them into standalone Bluetooth or MP3 players,
allowing the original selection buttons to be used to choose digital songs. ·
