Description :
Trio of Vintage Ritual Items from China Hong Kong Asia This auction presents three mid-20th century
Asian ritual objects with distinct ceremonial roles and origins. The first is a
Chinese-style singing bowl crafted from bronze alloy, modeled after Tibetan
meditation instruments and widely exported during the 20th century’s spiritual
wellness boom. It features traditional design elements and sonic function but
bears no visible industrial markings. The second item is a stamped and etched
incense burner made of brass alloy, with a domed lid displaying floral
perforations and engraved scrollwork. A clearly embossed “MADE IN CHINA” stamp
is present on its underside, confirming its industrial production origin during
East Asia’s mid-century ceremonial export period. The third piece is a
hexagonal porcelain plant holder marked “JAPANESE PORCELAIN WARE DECORATED IN
HONG KONG A.C.F.” This planter represents the post-WWII export porcelain
tradition, blending Japanese ceramic form with Hong Kong’s enamel artistry. Its
floral enamel surface and central drainage hole affirm its use as a traditional
jardinière. Together, these three artifacts reflect the spiritual, decorative,
and craft heritage of 20th-century Asia across multiple regions. Materials made
of: bronze alloy, stamped and etched brass alloy, painted porcelain with enamel
glaze. Measurements: Singing Bowl: 7 1/4" around x 2 1/2"H Incence Burner: 8" around x 5"H Japanese Plant Holder 6 1/2" around x 5 1/4"H
