Description :

Post-1979 Mexican 925 Silver Stud Earrings Set With Maker Stamps

This single lot includes four distinct pairs of Mexican sterling silver stud earrings from the post-1979 period, each bearing verified hallmark stamps conforming to Mexico’s regulated silver identification system. Two pairs are solid domed ovals with a sleek, minimal profile, both marked “JQ-32 MEXICO 925,” indicating a registered silversmith active in Taxco or another certified region. The third pair is a smaller round dome stud, highly polished and unembellished, contributing to the lot’s representation of mid-to-late 20th-century modernist Mexican silver design. The final pair features round cabochon stones in a bezel setting with notched silverwork edges, exhibiting characteristics of traditional Mexican lapidary design. The backs are stamped “925” with a stylized encircled “G” silversmith mark. These earrings offer insight into the stylistic diversity of post-1979 Mexican silver jewelry production when standardized markings ensured authenticity and origin traceability for export and collector interest. No stones are verified but the blue cabochons resemble lapis lazuli.

Materials made of: Sterling silver, blue cabochon stones
