Description :
Sterling Pendant Necklace With
1951 Penny Coin Locket Charm This is a single pendant necklace
featuring a functioning spherical locket formed from two genuine British 1951
pennies. The pendant opens along its equator, revealing a small hidden
compartment. The coin locket is embellished with silver-toned decorative end
caps and suspended from a textured ring bale. Attached to this ring is an oval
tag visibly signed by Sabina, denoting the maker's branding. The chain
is a fine snake-link design with a lobster clasp closure, and one of the links
is stamped "925", indicating sterling silver. The pendant’s surface
retains the original coin inscriptions including "PENNY" and the year
"1951", marking its historical date of origin. This unique coin
conversion reflects a mid-20th-century postwar novelty adapted into wearable
jewelry.
Sterling silver, bronze coin (British 1951 penny), metal alloy accents.
