Description :
Victorian Brooch, Mexican Ring
& Italy SS Bird Pendant Set This auction lot includes three
distinct silver pieces spanning different origins and styles. The first is an
antique English brooch stamped “G.E.W,” a known Victorian silversmith,
featuring engraved detailing and openwork with a traditional C-clasp and
extended pin stem typical of 19th-century construction. The second item is a
sterling silver ring marked “MEXICO STERLING 925,” crafted with a central
double-rope motif and no additional decorative elements. Its patina and
structure reflect classic mid-century Mexican silverwork. The third piece is an
Italian-made rope chain necklace marked “925 ITALY” on both clasps, accompanied
by a large oval pendant with a hand-pierced design showing two birds flying
above mountain silhouettes. The pendant is signed with an “SS” maker’s mark on
the reverse. All items show minor age-related wear, surface patina, and light
tarnishing but remain functional. Ring size is 7 1/2
