Description :
Carved Fish Cord Pendant With
Three Bangles In Mixed Materials This lot includes four distinct
jewelry pieces: a carved pendant and three bracelets. The pendant features two
stylized fish intricately carved from a tan-colored stone, suspended on a
braided natural cord. The fish motif suggests East Asian symbolic influences,
often associated with abundance and harmony. Accompanying the pendant are three
bangles: one is a deep red glossy solid bangle with no seams or markings,
likely resin or early plastic; another is a brown-toned bracelet etched with
abstract swirling patterns, possibly carved from wood or coconut shell; and the
last is a wide dark bangle inlaid with irregular blue-green shell-like
segments, suggestive of abalone or imitation inlay, lined with a brass-toned
inner surface. None of the pieces display any visible manufacturer branding or
hallmarks. All elements exhibit stylistic traits consistent with mid to late
20th century artisanal or souvenir jewelry traditions.
Carved stone, braided fiber cord, resin or plastic, wood or coconut shell, base
metal, shell inlay.
