The show starred Lauren Bacall as Margo Channing, supported by Don Chastain, Beverly Dixon, Lee Roy Reams, Norwood Smith, Ted Pritchard, Leland Palmer, Burt Bier, George McDaniel, Ray Thorne, and Virginia Sandifur.
Featuring the celebrated book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Lee Adams, this landmark staging was directed and choreographed by Ron Field. Scenic design was by Robert Randolph, costumes by Ray Aghayan, and lighting by Tharon Musser, while musical direction and vocal arrangements were overseen by Donald Pippin with Jack Lee conducting and orchestrations by Philip J.
