Description :

Original Bob Hope Souvenir Booklet - Life Films & Troop Entertaining

This single original mid 20th century souvenir booklet is a verifiable, production-issued piece focused specifically on Bob Hope and the films, public appearances, sports interests and troop-entertaining work represented on its pages; printed page headings that appear exactly in this item are the two page biographical spread headlined SO THIS IS HOPE THE EARLY LIFE AND TIMES OF LESLIE TOWNES, the glamour feature WHERE THERE'S HOPE. THERE IS ALSO GLAMOUR, the sports spread BOB HOPE SPORTSMAN HIS INTERESTS RANGE FAR AND WIDE IN EVERY PHASE OF SPORTS ACTIVITY, the troop/appearance panels captioned MY FRIEND BOB HOPE and BOB I NEVER LEFT HOME HOPE, and a film promotional page for THE PALEFACE that explicitly credits its stars Bob Hope and Jane Russell and references the song BUTTONS AND BOWS and the film’s Technicolor presentation. The booklet prints Bob Hope’s given name Leslie Townes in the biographical heading and names other famous contemporaries directly in captions including Bing Crosby and Gene Autry. Physically this is one booklet only, saddle stitched/softbound with period paper stock and monochrome to sepia printed imagery and typographic feature spreads; visible condition notes are toned paper, light surface wear to covers and page edges, intact staple binding; this is not a modern reproduction but an original vintage souvenir booklet.
